M-39: A Unique Experience
If you are interested in growing M-39 seeds, you should be prepared for how insanely cool these plants look when fully grown. A mix of earth tones, the plants are green, brown, red, and even lavender. The medium-height plant features leaves that get longer towards the top of the bush, giving them an umbrella-like canopy. The buds appear to be fuzzy, but that is just the crystal resin that covers these plants. A closer inspection reveals just how dusty these plants can get. It almost looks like they were sprinkled with sea salt. The buds also have dark red pistils that are super long and stringy. The harvested nugs are small and dense, with green and amber throughout. You don’t need to break the nuggets apart to get a whiff of that diesel aroma so many cannabis fans love. While M-39 hasn’t won any major awards, its parent strains have given the M-39 strain an award-winning lineage.
Growing Tips for Our Seeds
M-39 can be grown indoors or outdoors. However, it does grow faster indoors than out. There isn’t much known about the specifics of growing them outdoors. But they are rather resistant to molds and fungus, making that strain particularly sturdy. Because of this it is very easy to grow as well. You will need to do some experimentation of your own to truly grow it. M-39 prefers a warm, sunny, and dry climate to thrive outdoors. Beginner growers should have no trouble at all bringing this strain to harvest, and when you do, you will be awarded accordingly.
Dial in Your Growing Conditions
- Indoor or Outdoor: M-39 cannabis seeds can be grown indoors and outdoors by first-time growers. The ideal temperature for these plants is around 75 degrees Fahrenheit during the vegetative stage and around 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the flowering stage. An 18-hour light cycle is required during the vegetative stage. You will want to change it to a 12-hour cycle of light and 12 hours of darkness during the flowering stage.
- Moisture control: Maintain a humidity level of around 40-50% through the vegetative stage and then lower the humidity levels to around 40% into the flowering stage. This will help your plants fight off mold and mildew.
- Training Techniques: Low-stress training, Screen of Green method, and topping are the best training techniques for this strain. These techniques will increase your yields come harvest time.
The Germination Game Plan
Before you even plant your M-39 female cannabis plants, you will first need to germinate these seeds. To do so, refer to our free germination guide, knowing that they are backed by our impressive 90% germination guarantee.
Yields, Flowering Time, and Harvest
- Flowering Time: With indoor grow, you can expect the M-39 strain to harvest after a short flowering period of 55-65 days. With outdoor growing, it should be harvest-ready sometime around mid-to-late September.
- Yields: While Indoor yields are around 400 grams per square meter, outdoor grows typically produce up to 500 grams per plant. For an easy grow, these yield numbers are amazing.
Dominant Terpenes in M-39: Skunky Perfection
The M-39 terpene profile is directly responsible for how the plant smells and tastes and the strong effects it has on its users. The most dominant terpene in this strain is myrcene, while caryophyllene and limonene are the secondary terpenes.
- Myrcene: Most Dominant – Musky, earthy aroma. Enhances the strain’s sedative effects.
- Caryophyllene: Secondary Terpene – Found in cloves, oregano, cinnamon, and hops. It may help with pain, stress, and anxiety.
- Limonene: Citrusy – Typically found in citrus rinds as well as cannabis, this terpene gives the strain its fruity and citrus-like notes.
Dominant Cannabinoids in M-39:
Cannabinoids play an important role in M-39 seeds and are generally a huge part of most cannabis strains. That creative, happy, and talkative feeling you get when enjoying the M-39 strain is due to its dominant cannabinoids. Each cannabinoid does something different to the user.
- THC: The Main Character – THC is the most dominant cannabinoid on the molecular level of this strain. The crystalline compound tetrahydrocannabinol is the main ingredient of cannabis. Topping out at 20%, the THC in this Indica-dominant strain is responsible for the happy and euphoric feeling you get when enjoying M-39 cannabis.
- CBD: Very Minimal Amounts – While the CBD levels in M-39 are less than 1%, the cannabinoid is still present, and the effects are noticeable in this strain. CBD plays a smaller role in what the strain does to the user.
